I have been skating since I was a kid. That is a long time to do something and still be average at it. Most days that is fine with me.

The dark side of instant communication

Instant messaging was supposed to make us more connected. In some ways it has. But it's also created a false sense of urgency that quietly drains us.

I don't really remember when it hit me. It wasn't loud at first more like background noise that became louder over time.

Digital minimalism

Using technology only when it adds value to your life sounds simple. Actually doing it is a slow, ongoing process and that's okay.

Why I created this blog
